What is an NVQ?

A National Vocational Qualification is used to demonstrate that candidates have the necessary skills and knowledge in their job to meet established industry standards.

How do I achieve it?

After initial induction into the program which will identify areas for development, our dedicated NVQ assessor will visit you 2 or 3 times on site to assess your skills against approved criteria. You will also build a portfolio to provide evidence of your work skills.

How long will it take?

There is a minimum time of 10 weeks between registration onto the program and issuing the qualification. Beyond this it is up to you and our assessor to agree on a suitable timeframe for completion.
